Huang Da Cha (黄大茶)

Yellow loose leaf tea from Anhui province

This rare yellow tea is from the city of Houshan, prepared by hand using traditional dry roasting technology ( Lao Gan Hong ). Vikory leaves have large leaves with needles, hand-picked on the high-altitude terraces of Anhui province.

The key stage of the brewing process is “men huang” (慢黄) - a long simmering period, during which time the tea develops a deep, soft relish and characteristic Burshtin infusion.

The dry leaves have a bright smoky-roasting aroma with notes of bread, cocoa and hazelnuts.
The fingertips have a rich body, warm tones of prunes, baked dried fruits, and caramel sourness.
Pislyasmak is long-lasting, deep, with hints of dark chocolate or brandy. The infusion of color is bright, oily, amber-yellow.
